- Create a worker profile (skills + ZIP coverage).
- Browse shifts in Discover.
- Hold a seat (optional) and confirm participation.
- Check in/out on the day of the shift.
- Request a volunteer certificate when applicable.
For organizations
- Create an organization profile.
- Create an event (title, ZIP, details).
- Create roles for that event (requirements).
- Create shifts (time window, capacity).
- Approve workers (if required) and manage attendance.
- Close out engagements and issue certificates.
FAQ
Is this a staffing agency?
No. PinchHitterPool is a coordination and availability hub. Employers and workers can use profile links, but the platform is not dependent on external HR systems.
Do I need to pay to use it?
Most functionality is free. Optional paid add-ons cover advanced workflows, SMS packs, certificates, and premium support.
What about identity verification (CLEAR)?
CLEAR integration is planned. For now it’s a hidden placeholder — no UI, no marketing promises.
